Jean DiMotto serves Of Counsel at Nistler Law Office, s.c., practicing across civil and criminal cases. As a retired Milwaukee County judge, Ms. DiMotto’s work includes brief writing, case strategy, and serving as a mentor for our attorneys. Her background provides our clients with a distinct and unique advantage in litigation.
Ms. DiMotto spent 16 years serving Milwaukee County as a circuit court judge. She presided over 250 jury and bench trials as well as numerous motion hearings in both criminal and civil cases. Before that, Ms. DiMotto was a trial attorney for personal injury cases with a nearly perfect winning record, having only lost one trial.
Ms. DiMotto’s professional roots are in nursing. She served on the faculty of both Marquette University’s Law School and College of Nursing. She has lectured across the country about legal matters for health care professionals and university faculty, and was part of a three-judge team that presented criminal law procedure and issues to Chinese judges in Beijing in 1998.
